Broadway singer and Essence recording artist leads you on a journey through the parts of New York that stole your heart, leaving you with such wonderful memories. From Tin Pan Alley featuring the music of Irving Berlin and Sammy Cahn to Carnegie Hall where you would attend a Josh Grobin concert. From Pavarotti at Metropolitan Opera House to Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden New York does it all. And lets not forget the most popular reason to go to New York, to see a Broadway Show.
David starred as Daddy Warbucks for the 30th anniversary tours of Annie run in Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, Clearwater, Des Moines and Grand Rapids. David also went on as Warbucks in New York City at Madison Square Garden with Kathy Lee Gifford. Singing often with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Mr. Chernault has performed in a series of Holiday concerts at SeaWorld and the Bob Carr Theatre. David was lead vocalist on board cruise ships Vistafjord & Sagafjord porting out of Fort Lauderdale. He has entertained at Disney World, Universal Studios, Tokyo Disneyland, and various theaters in the Washington D.C. area including Arena Stage and Foldger Theater. He has been principal singer for numerous corporate clients in Convention and Business theater throughout Atlanta, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., and other major cities.
As an Essence recording artist you can hear Mr. Chernault on a series of CD's featuring the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. An "Evita Highlights" CD where he sang the role of 'Che' has sold over a half million copies. He can also be heard on the newly released 30th Anniversary CD of the Broadway show "Annie".
